What is Gemini?
Gemini is a communication protocol, just like HTTP used by Web browsers, but intentionally designed to be lighter and simpler.
Content in geminispace is mostly textual, reminiscent of the early Web. There are no client-side scripts, ads, popups, or fancy designs. But there are many blogs, some aggregators, message boards, and even games.
