A long long time ago, I purchased a small in-car display intended for analog video from aftermarket reverse camera. I wanted to use it with a Raspberry Pi (the first generation, which had RCA video out!), so I modified the display to run on 5V instead of 12V by removing the voltage converter chip - internals ran on 5V anyway. At some point in time, I removed the LCD and the driver from the original enclosure to use with Raspberry Pi Zero (by directly soldering to two analog video out pins). And now, a decade later, I designed and printed a new enclosure for the LCD, as well as updating the power connector to USB-C.

Kind of ironic, I know.

I volunteer at a repair cafe, and Smol TV (+ some converters) is pretty convenient to troubleshoot devices with video output.
